Operator's Itinerary
Day 1: Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales.
Arrival at Punta Arenas. Transfer to Puerto Natales in a private vehicle, a 3-hour drive through the Patagonian pampa. Lodging in Puerto Natales. Meeting to discuss trip programme. (Dinner not included). Book any flight that arrives before 8PM at Punta Arenas airport in Southern Chile.
Day 2: Torres del Paine.
Breakfast in the morning. Leave in the morning in our private vehicle in the direction of Torres del Paine National Park. Start our hike through Ascencio valley by the footpath through Lenga tree forests towards the Torres del Paine lookout, one of the most spectacular views of the Park. From here we can view the three granite pinnacles towering above a grey lake in a deep, narrow valley. Return to Torres camp. Snack and dinner. Note: Breakfast, packed lunch and dinner is included on each day of the expedition in Torres del Paine.
Day 3: Cuernos Camp
We leave early in the morning and trek along a footpath that crosses rocky zones and goes through forests along the Paine massif. Lodging in Cuernos camp. Refugio los Cuernos offers a superb view of the "Cuernos" mountains and condors flying around.
Day 4: French Valley - Pehoé Camp.
Leave in the morning fors French Valley. After walking along Lago Nordenskjold, we go into an impressive valley that is surrounded by mountains such as; Paine Grande, the Horns, the Sword, the Mask and other magnificent peaks. We continue towards the Pehoé camp, where we will find our camping spot.
Day 5: Pehoé Camp – Grey Camp.
Today we start one of the most beautiful passages of this excursion. It is a four-hour trek with beautiful views of Lago Grey along the way. From the trail we will see views of the enormous Grey Glacier coming down from the Southern Ice Cap. Camp Grey.
Day 6: Grey Camp - Los Guardas (Grey lookout) - Puerto Natales.
Breakfast in the morning. Trek to Los Guardas (1.5 hours) and arrive at a place where we can contemplate the Grey Glacier. Back to Grey camp. From here we will take a boat and sail on Lago Grey towards the other side of the lake. From here our private vehicle will transfer us to Puerto Natales. Hotel. (Dinner not included).
Day 7: Puerto Natales - El Chaltén.
Regular bus to Chaltén (stop at El Calafate). (8-hour round journey) Hotel.
Day 8: Trek to Cerro Torre lookout.
Spectacular and pleasant hike towards to the base of Cerro Torre. Short Hike to Mirador Maestri (Maestri's lookout). Back to Chaltén. Lodging in Hotel. Dinner at night. Note: All meals are included during the expedition.
Day 9: Trek to Laguna de los Tres (Fitz Roy lookout).
Hike towards Fitz Roy and Laguna de los Tres. Start from Estancia Pilar and return to Chaltén through Río Blanco valley. Hotel. Dinner at night.
Day 10: Back to Puerto Natales.
Regular bus to El Calafate and then change bus to Puerto Natales. Hotel.
Day 11: Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas.
Transfer to Punta Arenas Airport.
