Tell us about Torres del Paine
No because the hike to the Towers were reserved for a day when we had to get back and were in a rush - should have been done the first day when we had ample time even allowing for the slowest among us.

Was cancelled due to windy weather.
Tell us about the Trekking
The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable but the equipment list was incomplete as we said earlier. Since the towers hike is what most people who come to the region come for, there should have been more thought to do it on a day when the weather was the best and we had the most time. This was left as an after thought to the last day. Also, there should be an option to have two guides in case there are members in the group who still wish to do this iconic hike but are slower than the others by 1 or 2 hours. I would not recommend this to other travellers unless they had an opportunity to converse with the guide ahead of their trip.
Something Else?
The lodge should have been open all the time since the weather is so unpredictable. The huts were very cold - some sort of area heating should have been provided. Where are guests expected to hang out in the event of inclement weather?

Discuss your expectations with the local guide well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Yes. I will not take a trip like this where I did not do my due diligence ahead of time.

Put your clients in direct communication with the local guide way ahead of time instead of the day of arrival.
