Patagonia Mountain Biking

mountain biking PatagoniaCycling can take you to places inaccessible by car, and enables you to cover larger distances than by foot. Plus, for those of you that aren’t horse-lovers, you can still cover a large distance in a reasonably short space of time and it means you’re still being active rather than just seeing the scenery from a bus.

- If you've done some mountain biking before and are looking for 2 to 3 days to explore some of the trails of Patagonian's national parks on two wheels then Torres del Paine is the best place for you.

- Those wanting to tour through Patagonia from A to B will prefer the routes up in the Lake District. Here you'll be on a mountain bike, but riding wider tracks and un-paved roads.

- Those hardy folks looking for a 2-6 week biking adventure, and happy to camp each night, will want to take on the infamous Carretera Austral.

- Finally, if you're looking for just a day or two of mountain biking, you'll want to consider one of Multi-Activity trips.
