Patagonia Mountain Biking

Cycling can take you to places inaccessible by car, and enables you to cover larger distances than by foot. Plus, for those of you that aren't horse-lovers, you can still cover a large distance in a reasonably short space of time and it means you're still being active rather than just seeing the scenery from a bus.

- If you've done some mountain biking before and are looking for 2 to 3 days to explore some of the trails of Patagonian's national parks on two wheels then Torres del Paine is the best place for you.

- Those wanting to tour through Patagonia from A to B will prefer the routes up in the Lake District. Here you'll be on a mountain bike, but riding wider tracks and un-paved roads.

- Those hardy folks looking for a 2-6 week biking adventure, and happy to camp each night, will want to take on the infamous Carretera Austral.

- Finally, if you're looking for just a day or two of mountain biking, you'll want to consider one of Multi-Activity trips.
